When facing a cancer diagnosis, stress can accumulate quickly. The patient questions the longevity of their life, quality, and they examine their own humanity.

Did I live well? Was I a good person? Does my family and friends know much I love them? These questions are daunting and sometimes slightly morbid.

For me, a breast cancer survivor three times over, the questions are endless. Fortunately I am blessed and lucky enough to have a wonderful support system.

My family and friends have stood by my side as I've fought stage 4 cancer for nearly a decade. Their patience and understanding knows no limits. Without this, I feel I would truly be lost.

Thank you so much. I had to check to see if this was my friend's mom. She has been fighting that same fight for just as long.

It gives a great perspective, no matter the disease
