and while i believe in it, it's straining me. i have my own crises. my home business is failing, i need a real job. but my contacts keep requesting, begging, manipulating volunteers to do more. it's like working for a temp agency, but with no pay.

1. You need to take care of yourself first, otherwise you can't keep helping others very well.

Parents, first put on your own oxygen masks, and then help your children.

There are a lot of needy people - some are really in need but many want the attention and additional caring. We can't serve everybody that asks.

Please take a respite. Take a step back, talk to someone outside of this immediate environment. And take care of yourself.
