Would they deceive me?

I have had a low grade fever for a couple of weeks. I went to the doctor for blood and urine tests. Yesterday, I received three messages from them before I picked up. They told me that the lab had spilled my urine test and I needed to come in to provide another sample.

I know that they do not usually do tests on Fridays. Also, a holiday is coming up. I am worried that there is something more serious and they are not being straight with me. They will have bad news for me when I get there. Maybe I am just under too much stress, as we all are. They do not need a ruse to get me back into the clinic. I would like answers, that is why I went in for tests.

I can't sleep. I am very stressed.

1. It is kind of odd they would spill a urine sample but

I donít think they would deceive you though. Hope all is well and you feel better💕 When I went to the hospital about 2 1/2 weeks ago they did numerous tests including a urine sample but I never got the results of the urine sample. As far as I can recall anyway.

2. I say they spilled it and they need you to come in for a repeat. I do not think any doctor

would use a ploy to get you back in because they have bad news. They hand out bad news all the time. They are professionals and would do it in a professional manner. Sleep...

3. Thank you.

We are all under a great deal of stress. My husband has to go in for tests today as well.

The whole world is under stress. I hope I am being a ninny for no reason.

Hugs to both of you who replied.

4. I bet they did spill it and are mortified and

are doing the test on days they usually don't because they are embarassed about the mistake and want to rectify it.

Don't worry, and let us know how it comes out.

5. That really was all they wanted.

I peed and left.

The lab was embarrassed.

I guess I don't trust anyone any more.

6. I'm so glad. I've been in their position (not spilling pee, but making mistakes with

data I collected for health treatment.) It's inevitable that it will happen at some point or another, but it's awful. You just want to get it corrected as soon as you can.

8. That is good!

Hope the results are good too. I do remember once I had to do a test and bring in samples to the office/ lab, and then they told me a week later that they had lost it so I had to do it all over again, ugh.
