Beloved fitness instructor shot by ex boyfriend in parkinglot on the way to teach a class.

Friends in this group, I'm mourning a terrific young woman, a great teacher, a big jokester, just a great person, and a mother. So much energy that everyone in her classes could feel it, and always did more than they thought they could. So much humor that you knew she was going through everything along with you.

I don't want to take this into gun issues or violence issues just yet. I'm too damn sad.

I just want to say to anyone who teaches fitness classes, pump, combat, bootcamp, zumba, ballet burn, yoga, pilates, swimming, running, crossfit, whatever it is -- THANK YOU. You have no idea what you are giving us, all of us, no matter what age, what level of fitness. You all give us so much.

I'm not putting a link here because this seems so local and specific right now. My gym is devastated. And really my point is to send thanks and love to all our wonderful teachers, every day. Thank you.
