Apple Watch 4 w/ ECG for a-fib -- A question

I'm reading with great interest about the Apple Watch Series 4 and its ability to do ECG readings on the heart. A lot of information at the article linked below...

... but my main question is in regards to something at the very end of the article that says: "These features are not recommended to those under 22 or to anyone who already knows they have atrial fibrillation."

Does anyone know why that would be? Why shouldn't someone with afib use these features of the watch?

Most likely they are concerned with people obsessing over monitoring their heart! democratisphere Jan 2019 #1

I read it was not easy to get FDA clearance for the watch, first EKG device of its kind. I’m more interested in their future watch with blood pressure sensor (already patented), I think it would be more useful for most. I am new to the watch myself and I see great potential in this device but I think it’s still not there and poor battery life really annoys me.
