In the moving and educational short film "Knowing," Impulse Group shows the importance of knowing and communicating your HIV status, especially when taking your relationship to the new level.

Sponsored by AIDS Healthcare Foundation, Impulse Group is an organization of young gay men committed to educating their peers about the risk of HIV transmission. The video features a hottie, fresh from a breakup, who has a steamy hookup with his nerdy coworker — after they exchange statuses, of course.

“I believe that beauty and style, from clothes to music to architecture, foster a more inviting environment for knowing the facts,” says John Saint-Denis, the film’s producer.
