Got released from work again until 8/6

feeling depressed and anxious today. I cannot return to my job and still function daily. Still have not heard back about short-term disability payments ( I pay for the premiums). I have to wait until I hear from them. I'm assuming I'll hear no.

As a self-supporting person most of my life, I'm having anxiety about having enough money if and when I get SSDI.

Having a hard time relaxing due to this.

So much to worry about.

Thanks. I'm trying to take it dsy by day. My SO is paying rent and utilities. He just turned 69. Should he pass, I'll be all alone and without finial help. My mind is running in circles of doom

Thanks for listening. I'm mad about being disabled.

you can get out of the ruminations. (Fwiw, we’re struggling financially here, and I’m caught up in the same doom circles as you are.)

With delta raging & gamma apparently ramping up in IL & NYC from what I've read, maybe this circumstance is serving to protect you.

Try to relax into your situation as it seems you don't have a choice.

some coworkers in my building stay behind a desk with plexiglass all around it. Those scheduled on my desk in a public area do not. I questioned it and was blown off. That happens a lot there.

We're constantly mixing up close to the public, touching the mouses and keyboards the public use. No more masks, either
