I'm amazed - the story on Glaxo-Smith Kline broke yesterday -

but I've yet to see a thread denouncing SSRIs and telling people with depression that they just need to buck up and do a little exercise because SSRIs are nothing but placebos foisted on us by Big Pharma!

to buck up and exercise because SSRIs WORK, and 'bucking up' and exercising DON'T (much.)

DON'T confuse efficacy of the meds with dishonest pharma, that's a foolish and serious mistake.

it seems there are a lot of people who either think that they don't work and/or there is no such thing as depression.

For myself, I think I was most inspired by Tobin S.
