"silly" thing that makes me tear up today

THIS IS THE MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT GROUP. Abrasive and unkind comments are not welcome here.

I'm guessing all you regulars have seen my post in GD about Chris Long ? It makes me tear up because the vast majority of humans I have ever met would never even consider such a thing. Of course, 99.999% of us cannot do this even if we wanted to. Still, the very fact he did it touches me tremendously.

He's very human I am sure, but he is one of the very best of us. This kind of generosity of spirit is to be encouraged, when possible.

All the best to you, Chris Long and to your family. I see you have a small son. He is extremely lucky. So is your wife.

All the best to all forum regulars

an article about Chris Long maybe a week or so ago .... I knew he was a good guy, but at the time I wasn't aware of the depth of his commitment to equal opportunity for all. Too bad the politicians in this country don't take a lesson from him or at least listen to what he has to say. He is indeed one of the best of us.

He was active in several charities and was also vocal in his support of BLM (in Missouri no less) during the Ferguson Protests.

I don't know why two men who were born into wealth can turn out so differently.

Chris Long's Father made millions in football and broadcasting, and his son is a man of integrity and empathy.

Cheeto's father made millions as a slum lord and his son is a festering boil on the ass of humanity.
