Coffee. I opened the living room blinds and watched the snow come down. Pretty when you're inside

1. No offense, but these breakfast posts really bum me out.

They always serve to remind me that my insomnia is as bad as ever. Just once I'd like to be



before the breakfast post.


Whereabouts are you that you're seeing snow. I'm in SE PA, and supposedly a snowstorm is coming, but nothing yet.

6. Don't stop hoping, sleep may

yet come before breakfast. Today I am having oatmeal with blueberries and an English muffin with butter and raspberry preserves. Coffee always. Adding some Choibani creamer today. Right now, I have two dogs sleeping beside me and an orange cat on my lap. Perfect start to my day.

7. Good luck (with sleep and snow;)

snow started here in southern MD in the four o'clock hour, which is often when I get into bed (no problem sleeping.) I wake way AFTER the breakfast-hour here.

11. I envy you! I'm so disoriented I don't know when I finally got to sleep!

But, just checking DU now and seeing this, I realized I forgot to check again after seeing out the window around 5pm that we had about 4" of snow on our deck railings. Now I'm curious. Maybe I can trick myself into going to bed after getting up to look outside now. I could beat the breakfast post!

9. Central Ohio. The before 5am posts are because one of my cats sleeps over my bladder

She gets up and repositions, I wake up.

I too have sleep issues.

2. Coffee and cream now

Just a cold rain here. Blueberry scones later.

3. Just coffee as usual

I have dough working already. It’s a simple flour, yeast, salt, water dough and I haven’t yet decided what to do with it. It could possibly go in the direction of bread, maybe pizza or bagels. It’s very versatile.

4. It's snowing here too!

Sipping coffee right now! Sunday is bacon and egg day! And I don't hav to make it. Yippee!

5. Tea so far

Bigelow Earl Grey to be exact.

TJ just pulled in from work. She sent me a text that she came a roundabout way to avoid hills as it is very slick. Looks like about 3 or 4 inches so far and coming down strong.

FLFC has not gotten up yet and was dozing on the couch. He is watching the door waiting for TJ to come in.

8. salad

I stayed up late, thus I got up late. My salad was quick and easy to make because all the vegetables and greens had been prepped.

Mug of pomegranate-cranberry tea.

No snow here. Weather report says Northern Jersey is on the outskirts, but Western Jersey will get it. I'm sure we will get some; how much is the question.

Over medium eggs next.
