The RG made the best winter food! Good thing because we are shoveling, shoveling, shoveling here in Northern NJ:

Big stack of grilled chorizos.

Cannellinis.

Broccoli rabe cooked with garlic and olive oil.

Rustic bread.

Dessert: apple tart. This is an interesting thing he does with a store-made apple tart. Grate a little apple over the top, then add some agave or honey. Micro or warm in the oven. It's outrageous. Having this with Spicy Earth tea.

1. Hamburger, green beans, potatoes, carrots

Groundhog Day is tomorrow.

Shoveling? Roof collapse is not impossible.

Easy to make. Delicious. Plenty of health benefits from the chipotle peppers and adobe sauce. I prefer sour cream, although I do love Greek Yogurt. The limes really brighten up the dish.

4. I am eating now...just rice cakes with peanut butter and milk...some fruit. I had to put

my dog down today. He had been poisoned somehow and was doing better but his liver gave out today. I had him 12 years. He was a gift from my husband for Valentines day...and of course today is the the anniversary of my Mother's death. It has just been a miserable year.
