Stuffed meatloaf (provolone). Cubed, roasted potatoes with vinegar and olive oil. Also rosemary.

Baby arugula with goat cheese.

Dessert: decaf coffee and cream with chocolate chip cookies (dunkers).

1. Surf and Turf

Steamed lobster tails on iceberg lettuce with thin red onion rings, halves of cherry tomatoes, slices of cucumber with lemon and cocktail sauce on the side.

Broiled sirloin filets with a pepper sauce. Mashed garlicky potatoes. Steamed spinach.

Cabernet.

Vanilla ice cream.

2. Chicken adobo,

mashed potatoes and zucchini and corn mix

4. Wife had pork tenderloin simmering in tomato onion and garlic...

When I got home I added basil, oregano, salt and a dash of crushed red pepper. Made some penne pasta and tossed it all together. It was good. She had a tenderloin and didn't know what to do with it. It was a good choice I think.

7. Three On A Match

When I turn on my oven, there's usually 2-3 reasons why.

Tonight:
1) half a roasted turkey breast (It was on sale!)
2) oven-fried crispy sweet potato fries
3) classic French apple cake

I am sated.

9. Smoked salmon in garlicky Alfredo sauce over pasta,

sauteed brussels sprouts, and corn. All basically pantry goods except for the brussels sprouts, which were really good with the relative sweetness of the rest. It's next morning and I want it all over again.

My favorite place for quite good but affordable sushi/sashimi, a counter in an Asian supermarket, is closed for pandemic.
