Portuguese sausages covered with thinly sliced cottage fries.

Big plate of cooked spinach with parmesan over the top.

Italian long green beans.

Our supermarket had some catfish that we're going to have tomorrow.

Hope your dinner was delicious. Have a great week.

I almost got catfish, it was on sale here yesterday, I love fried catfish. But I already had decided on the trout.

You have a good week too! Thanks!

Pizza and subs TJ ordered from a restaurant on the UVA Corner. I patronized that restaurant a lot when I worked at the Medical School in the 70s and from time to time in the next 30 years.

We will see if the pizza is still good.

FLFC is sure to ask for some of everything. We'll have to sort out stuff he shouldn't have like onions.

but totally appropriate with surf 'n turf.

The ginger tea has the advantage of making one totally indifferent to sweets. Which, since summer is coming, I want to cut back on.

But they're fantastic. They're just so messy to prepare! Thankfully, when I tried them for the first time, my brother's oven had a self-cleaning feature!

I know now how to improve next time.
They seem like a variant of the US Midwest pigs in a blanket.

It was a beautiful, sunny day in the Catskills but fiercely cold so we needed some comfort food.

Thick beef ribs cooked in the crockpot with Stubb's barbecue sauce, sliced onions and minced garlic.

Boiled corn on the cob with butter. Mixed green salad with honey-mustard dressing.

Mango sorbet.
