Angel hair pasta with cream sauce--ricotta, mascarpone, and one other cheese that I forgot. Herbs like basil and marjoram. Fresh peas, zucchini, red pepper.

1. Mexican tonight

Chicken enchilladas with homemade tortillas.

The usual ingredients: chicken, seasoned tomatoes and chiles, garlic and onion all sautéed then wrapped in the tortillas.

Yellow rice and an avocado salad on the side.

3. steak on the grill

it's the last of the steaks that Al's son gave him for his birthday. I defrosted it in the fridge overnight, then took it out of the fridge to get to room temperature with some steak seasoning on it.

A Tex Mex style, chili verde dressing, ground chicken.
Cold decafe tea.

They had some nice looking fiilets on sale yesterday.

I also got a head of cauliflower to pulverize in the food processor for some cauliflower "fried rice".
