What's for Dinner, Thurs., April 8, 2021

Chinese dumplings.

Roasted chicken basted with sweet and spicy sauce. Has ginger, brown sugar, soy, scallion, cayenne, sesame oil, vinegar and honey.

Shredded cabbage with miso ginger dressing.

Vanilla pudding with raspberries. Ginger tea.

Hamburgers stuffed with Roquefort cheese and grilled. Served on Kaiser rolls with lettuce, tomato and a slice of onion. Baked beans and cole slaw on the side. Dove bars for dessert.

Have I mentioned how much I love my grill?!

Jasmine rice. Baby greens with cucumbers, snap peas, burrata cheese and balsamic vinaigrette.

April 6th was National Twinkie Day and I made a Twinkie copycat cream filled bundt cake that we're still eating. I never make desserts like this but once I found out that there was a National Twinkie day, I couldn't resist.
