What's for Dinner, Fri., June 4, 2021

Pork cutlet, breaded, with new kind of sauerkraut: red cabbage, beets, and carrots. This is from the Polish deli.

Chocolate and a glass of milk for dessert.

p.s. can you tell I've been planting and have -0- energy to make dinner?

and gave 3 away to friends. I used some tenderized round steak that came from one of our local processors. It came out so tender you can cut it with a fork.

It is 98 degrees here in Mpls.
Chilled shrimp with cocktail sauce
Cold asparagus with wasabi cream
Quick cucumber pickle
Ice tea and frozen yogurt with strawberries for desert.

I marinaded extra firm tofu in a sweet and spicy marinade.** Stir fried that with a package of 'Asian style' frozen veggies over rice. Leftovers for tomorrow. Cold decafe tea.

** I like and eat tofu frequently, I bought a tofu press and even after I let the tofu package drain for a while, when I used the press, I was honestly surprised at how much more liquid I got out. I put the tofu cubes in a zip lock bag for 2 hours and the marinade infused the cubes.
