What's for Dinner, Thurs., June 10, 2021

Going to dinner tonight at a friend's house at the shore. We're each taking something, so it's pot luck. I'm taking one of my salads made with mustard spinach and romaine plus raw vegetables.

1. Ever healthy and no hot oven needed! Nice. I'm not as good

Iíll take the leftover pork from yesterday and the leftover jasmine rice (lots) and add onion and garlic and carrots and snowpeas and a couple eggs and make a lovely fried rice.

But we don't have any turkey. Tuna (canned) instead.

3. Steak stir fry



Broccoli, brown rice, carrots, kale, mushrooms, zucchini.

Went food shopping yesterday. Got the essentials. Donuts, ice cream, watermelon. But slowly my consumption is waning. I only got 1 dozen donuts for example. And I've barely touched the ice cream.

5. Every spring we have two dishes made of green garlic.

Tonight it was caramelized green garlic on spaghetti. A few days ago we had dijon cream chicken and green garlic over rice. Also asparagus from our garden.

6. Tempura vegs: brocc, swt pot, red pep, zucch.

(Used to have it often; friend decided to pick dinner up.)
