What's for Dinner, Wed., June 30, 2021

Chopped turkey breast with mangos served over spring greens. The dressing is rice vinegar, sesame oil, and a few other ingredients I can't recall. Putting toasted pine nuts and cilantro over the top.

Cherry kombucha to drink.

We’re half-way back to NYC from Salem, MA on our new boat, “Pelagic.” We’ve stopped at Block Island to wait out bad weather.

I’m pan frying the sausage with onions and broccoli. We’ll have that along with buttered dinner rolls and iced tea. Cookies for dessert.

Instead of cooking the sauce, I put it all in the blender and then threw it into the crust with cheese on top. Surprisingly close to the real thing.

makes sense, really. When cooking a pizza in the oven, you're using high heat. The sauce will cook.

Using a veggie kit I picked up and the odd chicken breast from a 3-pack, rice from a big batch I cooked earlier in the week. Drinks of choice. It's too hot to really cook.

There's chicken and potato salad left from last night, plus my sister made a big batch of spaghetti w/ Italian sausage and sent some over.

I made some cookies: apple/walnut/oatmeal. They came out good.

until 9pm this evening….too hot to cook anything at all. I ate a big honey crisp apple for dinner. It was all I could do.
