What's for Dinner, Thurs., July 15, 2021

Is it ever hot here. I am making a cold soup: Hungarian Mushroom Soup. It is cream based and has dill in it. Two kinds of mushrooms that I shopped for yesterday, which are Baby Bellas and portobellos.

Maybe some chia bread, toasted, to go with it.

Dessert will be watermelon.

My nephew and his fiancee are coming to NYC for a week-long visit and she requested a selection of Japanese dishes.

Sashimi appetizer with a green salad with the traditional ginger dressing. Miso soup.
Beef Negimaki with broccoli. Shrimp tempura on the side for turf 'n' surf.
Hot saki.
Orange slices for dessert.

Sometimes, I love it when I don't have to cook!

I'm using Kang Karee yellow curry paste as base with onion, ginger, garlic in a coconut milk base with cod cut into cubes. I have never tried a fish curry before
Decafe CD tea.
