1. Big pot of Chili I made yesterday.

My wife is out of town for a few weeks so I will be enjoying chili a number of times this week. Had her sister over for lunch today, but other than that it's just me for now.

The Landlady(!) is away for the night and I’m having dinner in NYC with a famous composer and his partner. I expect that it will be elegant, exceptional and delicious. I’ll let y’all know.

Several types of melons wrapped with prosciutto de Parma and highlighted with thinly sliced strawberries topped with Gorgonzola cheese.

Pasta
Angel hair with a very light tomato sauce

Secondi
Boneless chicken stuffed with spinach and garlic.

Lemon flavored glacé and Italian white wine.
