What's for Dinner, Fri., Nov. 26, 2021

This is my Thanksgiving dinner, since I work outside on Thanksgiving Day, putting my gardens to bed for the winter.

Turkey breast, roasted
Cornbread stuffing
Cranberries
Brussels sprouts, straight off the stalk, also roasted
For dessert, pumpkin pie that I made with a pumpkin I grew. Whipped cream.
Vanilla-nut coffee

Kombucha with this meal: Berry nirvana.

Turkey with sides as yesterday,
but the turkey ended up in a turkey sandwich on whole wheat toast with mayo.

I sliced up a pineapple too.

======

FLFC had dark meat and skin bits from the stock pot as I cooked down the turkey remains. The aroma got him to stop by the kitchen often.

I'm not used to rich food any more, found that out after dinner yesterday. For dinner this evening, I had some fresh sprouts (moo mix and radish), olive salad and onion in a wrap, with a few pieces of Swiss cheese, some black olives and fresh radishes on the side.
