I'm going to try out a couple recipes for items I might serve over the holidays. They are:
--carrot, zucchini, and leek fritters.
--spinach and feta patties
Both are topped with tomato dipping sauce --tomatoes, lemon juice, garlic. Plus I might use some of the sauce I used for the sweet potatoes last night, the herb-creme fraiche sauce.
To make it a meal, a cup of curried mushroom squash soup.

(23,313 posts)on a bed of tagliatelle. Parmesan crusted Brussell's sprouts for me and roasted broccoli for my guys. I'll open a bottle of white burgundy that my sister gave me for my birthday.

French fries, pan fried. Veggies. Desert has been cold oatmeal with sugar and spices lately. Cold because I got these packages of oatmeal you don't have to cook, just add water. There's raisins and almond slices in there too.

corn & bean salad (black beans, corn, diced jalapeno, diced red onion, cherry tomatoes, cilatro)
I didn't make dessert, but I'm betting Al will head to the corner store for some ice cream.
