Ham sandwiches on Brioche with lettuce, onion, and honey-mustard mayo.

Macaroni and cheese.

Cup of mushroom soup.

To drink, raspberry-ginger-lemon kombucha.

Dessert: java chip ice cream.

but tonight we have dessert ... cookies from the church cookie exchange and caroling session this afternoon. I've already sampled some terrific snickerdoodles, and look forward to some baklava that one member specializes in, yum.

a paste I made with pureed steamed fresh asparagus, 1/2 stock of butter, 3 oz of Parmesan, and 3 oz of chopped roasted walnuts.
