With Penzey's freeze-dried shallots and one of their seasoned salts. I'll have to freeze half because nobody else is as smart as I am but that's ok.

Understood; and maybe mark that package-for-the-freezer as 'dog food' so that no one else will bother it...

I just cannot choke down liver of any kind in any way, shape or form. Hope you enjoy them, tho.

I just bought chicken livers to try out in the air fryer. Love them!

(4,994 posts)7. Pan-fried in no oil. I was surprised how much liquid it started out with.
I made sure they were done, covering them and simmering first and then browning until the liquid was gone. They turned out great.
