(22,767 posts)Still have half a of that big rack of St. Louis BBQ ribs to finish off. Will make fried potatoes again, just because they're. Instead od slaw last night, since I didn't have anything to make the dressing with, that too will be a repeat of green salad with homemade bleu cheese dressing.
Oh, and at the moment, I'm in the process of making a fruit cake I've been promising him to make since before the holidays.
Edited typo.

(22,767 posts)to struggle through all of that lemon cheesecake until it's gone. Oh, the sacrifice!
MissMillie
(38,579 posts)but I cut 4 thin slices and froze them. Because of the lemon curd on top, I had to freeze them first, and then take them out and wrap them tightly and put them back in the freezer. To thaw, I'll have to unwrap first, so that the wrap doesn't remove all the curd.
That's another neat aside to the cheesecake story--I learned how to make homemade lemon curd. I told Al last year that there were a lot of plain cookie recipes that could be dressed up w/ a little lemon curd. Now I can try that.
