Related: About this forumDoing a 'throw anything in' chix soup;
had 'old' (last week) rotisserie chix, so threw some parts in pot, 2-3 cut up large/fat carrots, celery (with leaves,) small red pots, onion, 2 large garlic cloves, bay leaf, black peppercorns, salt, and went to grocery just for some fresh dill, this to remind me of grandma.
Now will wait, maybe for a long time, so it will be supper, not lunch (or even dinner; I know, so technical!)

Whenever I buy a Costco chicken I save the carcasses for future soups.
