Imagine a big, sweaty guy lining up hot dog buns on his greasy arm as he filled them with hot dogs and a terrific chili sauce. This was many years ago as he couldn't get away with that today. We didn't care as the dogs were fantastic

with my cousin who was like a sister to me. One of my best memories. Listening to Dr. Hook singing The Cover of the Rolling Stone.

Had to be the tastiest dogs I ever had. It wasn't the dog though (at least not entirely).

For some reason it happens when I tell mine about what TV was like in my youth.

Good luck on the foot long hot dog search!

My favorite hot dog stand closed permanently last fall before I could have one more. RIP Danny’s Dogs.

Come to beautiful Bay City…Zef’s Coney Island.

The BEST coney in the state. Biggest difference…homemade chili not from a can. Decades old family recipe.
How good? When we get a hankering for dogs we go to Zef’s and it’s little over an hour trip and we gotta go into the big city.

turned up multiple sources for the dogs, both pork and beef, plus 2 sources for the buns.

They're out there, you just need to order them.
