Pomegranate-Hazelnut Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
Acorn squash slices glazed with maple syrup.
To drink: Berry nirvana kombucha (raspberry, cranberry, ginger).
Dessert: tapioca pudding with banana. Cinnamon tea.

(22,777 posts)so we're having entree size green salads with fried chicken tenders from the deli with lots of good stuff and bleu cheese dressing the next couple of days.

(1,115 posts)Looking at a rainy weekend. So many new birds here in Lancaster Co., including the red Grosbeak.
But I digress. Annie's frozen enchiladas , Mexi-basmati rice, avacado, onion, lime, and feta salad, and (of course) Hershey's chocolates for dessert. (They are fresh!)

Cooked for Dad too. He had something similar: scrambled hamburg in onion gravy over mashed potatoes, sauteed yellow squash, broccoli.

(39,589 posts)Beets: I boil until fork tender, then slice and put them in a pan with butter until the butter melts.
