What's for Dinner, Fri., May 6, 2022

I'm having what I planned for last night's dinner tonight. It's because I went to pick something up before dinner and the electrical system on my car went haywire. I couldn't get a tow until 9:45 p.m.! I finally made it home at close to 11; the whole ordeal was around five hours.

Needless to say, no dinner last night. Here was my planned menu, and which I will be working on and having this evening (while I watch crime shows, YAY!)

Salmon and shrimp in puff pastry. Cucumber-dill sauce.

Pomegranate-Hazelnut Roasted Brussels Sprouts.

Acorn squash slices glazed with maple syrup.

To drink: Berry nirvana kombucha (raspberry, cranberry, ginger).

Dessert: tapioca pudding with banana. Cinnamon tea.

Baguette sliced and buttered with garlic, provolone on both sides, Genoa salami, ham (can't get good hot capocollo here ), pepperoni, banana pepper rings, baked until crispy, then dressed with lettuce, tomato and onion tossed in vinaigrette.

Pickled beets and pimento stuffed green olives on the side.

(The meat was sliding off as I snapped the photo. )
