Fresh produce is way too expensive to let dry out or get moldy!

(18,769 posts)2. Yep! Works great. And a friend taught me to freeze
berries in a single layer in a cake pan then put them in freezer bags. That way they dont freeze into a solid block.
May get fresh, local strawberries tomorrow, and may use these new techniques.

as got 3 pints yesterday; 'preserving' them now, so will next work on freezing some (after b'fast and lunch!)
