I been saving egg cartons for my neighbor who has 40 laying hens. He couldn't thank me enough and gave me a couple dozen farm fresh brown eggs yesterday. So today after a couple cups of coffee I plan on having eggs over easy, bacon and toast.

1. Coffee and cream now

2. We have a neighbor who has hens (she's also our mail carrier)

We gave her quite a few egg cartons (probably more than 100) last year, but she could only find it in her to give us one dozen of eggs.

So a few months ago, my guy offered up our egg cartons on Facebook "in exchange for 2 dozen eggs." We got a hit almost immediately. When the man came to pick up the 50 cartons, he brought us 3 dozen eggs. We kept his contact info.

Oh, I had a breakfast wrap (sausage, egg & cheese, salsa on a tortilla) and some coffee.

3. Mug of half cafe coffee #1 is finished.

Grilled ham cheese & egg on whole grain bread in awhile.
Lovely morning so far.

4. I have about 25 egg cartons

Every few years I make a special trip to the egg farm. I get nothing for them but it gets rid of them.

Today's breakfast was a giant sausage, pancakes, banana, coffee. Ice cream on one pancake.

5. Never had ice cream on a pancake, LOL.

As much love I have for ice cream, I would probably like it.
