....... both offer nutrition and sustenance. Chop the very end off the stem if it is aged a yellow or brown.

on what I'm chopping it for. if it's for a stew or soup, I chop the whole thing. If it's fresh pasta or potato salad or something like that, just the leaves. Likewise if I'm drying it, just the leaves, whole.

Which is when she uses the most parsley.
