(22,740 posts)I grow some of the sweetest sweet potatoes, I might have to try those sweet potato pancakes this fall when I dig them up. Now my biscuits gravy might put you in the hospital. LOL

(43,161 posts)Despite spices, these were bland. I think a tad too much cooking oil. As my mom would say, "Just eat it. You don't have to marry it."
Biscuits sound good, what gravy do you use? Canned would be rather salty I think.

(22,767 posts)I ate a small slice of the Basque cheesecake I made last night. Now that it's been nicely chilled overnight, I had to taste it to make sure it was okay.

(22,767 posts)this Basque cheesecake, so I only make it very occasionally. My husband will eat it as often as he can get away with it until it's gone. Unlike me, he doesn't have health issues that require dietary restrictions, so he will eat it sometimes twice a day.
