Coffee now, biscuits and gravy later.

1. Overnight cold brew coffee. Sweet potato pancakes.

These pancakes are a bit heavy and run a higher risk of hospitalization.

2. Sweet Potato is good for you!

I grow some of the sweetest sweet potatoes, I might have to try those sweet potato pancakes this fall when I dig them up. Now my biscuits gravy might put you in the hospital. LOL

3. I hope you have better results and stay out of the hospital

Despite spices, these were bland. I think a tad too much cooking oil. As my mom would say, "Just eat it. You don't have to marry it."

Biscuits sound good, what gravy do you use? Canned would be rather salty I think.

4. I buy a dry gravy mix from GFS. It tastes great and easy to make.

They supply food to restaurants and sell to the public.

5. Coffee and cream now

Cheese toast on whole grain oat bread with a nectarine later.

A bowl of blueberries, and half a hard boiled egg

My pup gets the other half of my egg

7. pistachio muffin

is what I requested they get me for our union meeting this morning.

I'm taking my own coffee--don't trust theirs.

8. I was really bad this morning.

I ate a small slice of the Basque cheesecake I made last night. Now that it's been nicely chilled overnight, I had to taste it to make sure it was okay.

9. If I had a cheesecake in the fridge, it would

disappear very quickly. Cheesecake tastes good with a morning cup of coffee too, but so does a chocolate bar. Now I need something sweet. . .

10. It's very hard to resist

this Basque cheesecake, so I only make it very occasionally. My husband will eat it as often as he can get away with it until it's gone. Unlike me, he doesn't have health issues that require dietary restrictions, so he will eat it sometimes twice a day.
