Goat cheese sandwiches with arugula, roasted peppers, and onion jam on a baguette.
Dessert: iced, coffee and chocolate tart with hazelnut shortbread crust (from local bakery).

(11,396 posts)the last of the bag of baby artichokes I got at the farmers' market. They're a pain to prep: you strip off the tough leaves until you get to the edible core (hint: remove leaves until you think you've removed enough, then take off another layer) But it's something you can't get most places.
