Deep Fried Coffee: A Horrifying Discovery

I imagine this was started by someone who couldn't afford a decent drum roaster. The first brewing method might confer some added richness if creamer had been used, quite nice for people who like coffee. The second method, nuh-uh. The facial expressions tell the whole story about that.

That was hilarious!

A few years ago someone made coffee for me and a friend that was prepared with a considerable amount of butter. It was very rich and good but I thought it was a waste of butter, all I need is some 1/2 & 1/2.

Deep frying is probably something close to sacrilege to most roasters, she says after having just ordered a bag of specialty, fair-trade coffee from her favorite roaster.
