What's for Dinner, Sun., Dec. 11, 2022

French restaurant, just got back. It's a place we've been going to for years, but they've been so successful they have expanded.

RG had salmon, I had steak.

RG had a sauvignon blanc.

Dessert: lemon tart with raspberries & blueberries.

My sister in law is visiting and never gets to eat it, so we are treating her.

I'm having a chicken bologna and Swiss on whole wheat bread.

I ate leftovers from last night (pork chop, sweet potato, and stewed apples) this afternoon so not so hungry.

I'm going to have more later. I'm considering low carb flavored yogurt with fresh fruit.

Not every meal is spectacular, but damn, sometimes you just get hungry and have to go with what's in the frig.

I think these are called "go to" meals. A sammich is usually my go to, but in the winter I like to have soup around for that purpose.

I'm rarely hungry when it's dinner time, so I eat when I am hungry about mid afternoon. Do what works for you.

We have some leftover pork chops from the other day, so I'll probably do something like cut the remaining meat off them, mix it with sauteed onions and mushrooms, then serve over baked potatoes. I think there's some lettuce left for a salad.
