What's for Dinner, Mon., Jan. 30. 2024

Posting early due to working late.

Pizza. Chinese broccoli with mozzarella and roasted tomatoes on top of cauliflower pizza crust. Hot pepper flakes. Drizzle of olive oil over the top.

Later on, a bowl of soup (Napa cabbage,shredded pork, lima beans, carrot, celery, and onion). Rye bread crouton with melted Manchego on top.

Turmeric-blood orange-ginger kombucha.

Dessert: Blueberry-cheesecake bars. No-sugar, almond crust. Earl Grey decaf.

So no cooking. They have Gluten free chicken Alfredo and pasta with salad anc chocolate chip cookie for dessert

6. I'm scheduled for an EKG Wednesday and the following week a stress test.

My doctor found something on my last blood test where something was right on the margin of being high. He said I didn't have to, but he recommended I take a stress test. I forget what it was, but when it comes to my heart I don't want to take any chances. So I been practicing on our treadmill for the last two weeks.

It's a BBQ restaurant and has some stuff for their kids to do while the adults eat great quantities of meat. I'm going to try their North Carolina pulled pork plate. Being from north Georgia, home of The One True BBQ, I have high standards.

the chicken and veggies in gravy over boiled potatoes from last night

Also some sweet chili chicken wings that I made over the weekend.


Either birthday cake or ice cream (or both) for dessert



Dad had glazed meatloaf, mushroom rice pilaf, and carrots & broccoli.

so good

my lifemate got General Tso's chicken

also got the egg rolls and BBQ pork
and we have leftovers
