Thinking of canned corn beef potatoes and cabbage today

1. I got something from my local grocery store, they had a large vat of Guinness stew

Pretty tasty, pretty heavy on the beef, potatoes and carrots, very Saint Patty’s Day. I am fortunate to have a neighborhood grocery store within walking distance with a great chef. It’s pretty upscale though so not so great for my bank account.

6. I have never liked corned beef and cabbage

Fortunately for me, my mother hated cooking and didn't like it, either. Besides, whenever she cooked cabbage, the house would smell like the devil's asshole for days, she always cooked it to death.

I do have potatoes and cabbage, so I'm thinking of colcannon today, bubble & squeak tomorrow. Good old northern European fart food.
