Vichyssoise, made with my own leeks. I chopped up some fresh garden celery for the top, as well as scallion greens. I also made croutons for it.

Later I'm going to make clam dip and have it with crackers.

Pineapple peach kombucha.

Dessert: a few chocolate squares from a Theo bar. Decaf.

1. Tomato/cucumber salad with feta, grilled trout, lemon potatoes and walnut tarts.

2. Fried morels and ribeye steak. Wife is cooking the morel

mushrooms and I'm grilling the steak. Also having green beans and coleslaw.

3. Burgers

Grilled cheeseburgers served on Kaiser rolls with lettuce, tomato, red onion and ketchup.

Baked beans and fresh cole slaw. Potato chips, dill pickles and cold lagers.

Chocolate chip cookies.

5. Beef and cheese enchiladas

The beef is a jar of the chili beef cubes I made and canned with the home-canned chile paste. I'm making enough for a repeat during the week and maybe one breakfast for me.

6. Grilled salmon and salad nt

7. Pork chops marinated

in a tamarind ginger paste, with asparagus, green salad, and I don't know what else.

8. Two inch thick 10 oz. New York strip steaks

cooked to a perfect medium via the reverse sear method, Hasselback potatoes, roasted asparagus, homemade dinner rolls. All accompanied by a decent Merlot wine.
