Anyone ever try Alabama white sauce on BBQ chicken.

I had it for first time yesterday it is delicious son 19 picked up BBQ chicken at this new place.
Just sharing in case anyone wants try it, i looked it up online recipe I’m gonna try to recreate it and do it next weekend.

Maybe on ribs or chicken on the grill.

it actually makes a good/easy marinade. breaks down in heat - not some kind of glop on your bbq.

Alabama white BBQ sauce is a mayonnaise-based dressing that also includes horseradish and cayenne pepper for a good amount of heat. Two packed tablespoons of brown sugar add some sweetness to the mix, while apple cider vinegar and lemon juice provide some flavorful acidity.

eg, a bbq pulled pork sandwich with cole slaw on it.

That "white sauce" sounds just like cole slaw sauce.

It's the best on grilled chicken, especially white meat.

It's originally from an Alabama restaurant called Gibson's bbq. We used to go there when I was a kid back in the 60's.
