What's for Dinner, Tues., June 11, 2024

Celery, Sausage, Provolone, Olives, and Pickled Peppers. Recipe is from the Joshua McFadden cookbook. I'm using cheddar bratwurst and home grown celery. The recipe also calls for thyme, red onion, red wine vinegar, and olive oil. Pic at linked recipe.

I already have a salad made up from yesterday, but I might add some arugula to it. Also make some toasted garlic croutons using artisan bread and the air fryer.

Dessert: lemon wafer cookies and cold mint tea, made from mint at the garden.

I make a similar dish but has chicken instead of sausage and feta instead of provolone and all is drizzled in olive oil and some pasta water to sauce it. Love it.

…Home grown celery, yum!

I am doin taco Tuesday and Tecate at Tin Hat as is pretty usual.

if you are gonna make pickles, do it when you have a drought. drought pickles are the BEST.
