2. Good morning gademocrat!

It's going to be a busy day here. The daughter of one of my neighbors is bringing her children to swim in my pond this afternoon. My two granddaughters are coming with the oldest granddaughter's boyfriend. They want to swim and fish. My wife's sister and her husband are coming to see our granddaughters.

3. Sounds like a fun day, emile

Who wouldn’t enjoy kids having fun in a pond? I remember doing that at my grandfather’s pond! Nuthin’ like it if you’re a kid.

Today the schools are out here, and a lot of the neighbors have pools, so I imagine we will be hearing the sounds of pool parties. It’s hot again here, but I think this is the last day of the heat wave.

I think I’ll mix up a smoothie this morning, maybe using pineapple juice, honeydew melon, and fresh mint.
