Don't say you're cheap. Say simply that you're just still using them, they're still good. Just because they're used SWBTATTReg Jan 2025 #4

once, doesn't mean throw them away. You're just thrifty. Nothing at all wrong w/ this, and you're helping our environment, by not disposing of anymore 'trash' until you're absolutely ready too. I wash my baggies out all of the time, reuse them. Now if the baggie is really yucky, and contained a meat (I don't really reuse those baggies I use to store meats in), I don't reuse, unless it's for a non-food item to store something else in the house other than foodstuffs.

I clean, fold, dry and use the next clean space. They are a bit expensive so color me "frugal"...

I use big zip-lock bags for the bread I bake, use them several times. Washing, then air dry. I'll store smaller used clean bags in the freezer and use them when I repack big packs of meat. I use fresh bags for each portion, and the used bags for extra protection. I try to reuse, recycle all that I can.
Thanks for posting.

are very expensive. We too reuse zipper lock bags. We could afford to be wasteful, but why would we?
