Rhubarb is a vegetable.

You cannot call it a pie or dessert.

My grandmother and aunts used to try to trick us kids with this nonsense
with rhubarb grown in their garden. My aunt would throw in a few strawberries
to trick us even more.

We know that dessert is only ice cream or cake.
Maybe a nice candy bar.

But I would eat the whipped cream and leave the pie on the plate.
