This will be mystery meal day, I'm planning on leftovers for breakfast, maybe with a hot tea, 1 lump of sugar.

Until Labor Day, with this heat, I prepare iced coffee for the morning imbibition. I love my coffee, but I can't bear a hot beverage under these circumstances.
I make a pot, add the sugar and half & half, let it cool, and then funnel into two Snapple bottles (the old glass ones), and refrigerate.
It's Heaven-on-Earth.

(37,926 posts)160 grams of ground Cafe Du Monde(fave brand) in a mesh basket to a quart of cold fresh water, cover chill 12 hrs in the fridge, take out the grounds and decanter the concentrate. Serve with half & half.

Toasted home-made bread. Pistachio or cashew butter. Jams and jellies.
Maybe bacon. One egg sunny and one over.
Mixed fruit cup mid morning.

Banana nut muffin, toasted in the air fryer with blueberries and lemon honey vanilla Greek yogurt.
