Lime Vinaigrette

If you love homemade salad dressings, you'll love this Lime Vinaigrette
recipe! It's made with just 7 simple ingredients and it comes together in
about 5 minutes. This lime vinaigrette dressing recipe is defnitely one of
those super easy homemade salad dressing recipes to make!

Ingredients

• 1/4 cup lime juice
• 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil (or avocado oil)
• 1 clove garlic, smashed, peeled and minced
• 2 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon honey or pure maple syrup
• 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
• 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, finely chopped
• 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
• salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions
Add ingredients to a mason jar and shake well until blended.
Refrigerate before using.

Notes
• Add minced jalapeno
• Sprinkle in a teaspoon or two of finely grated lime zest
• Add 2-3 tablespoons more finely chopped cilantro (which I often do)


Yield: 6-8 servings

Asian Orange Salad Dressing



A refreshing Asian style citrus dressing
Course: Condiment

Ingredients

1/4 cup orange juice I squeezed an orange to get a really fresh flavor
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 teaspoons sesame oil
4 drops chili oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 teaspoon miso paste not essential, but if you have it use it
Add additional oil if desired

Instructions

Mix all ingredients with a whisk until completely blended.
Place in a glass jar, pour over salad and store in the refrigerator.
