What's for Dinner, Thurs., Aug. 28, 2025

Leek potato soup with olive fougasse.

I'm excited about getting the fougasse. Ever since one of our fellow C & Bers mentioned it, I said I wanted one but was never lucky enough when I shopped Trader Joe's. Speak up, fellow poster! I thank you for mentioning it. I already tried it and it's good!

In addition, I will have a tossed green salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, and red peppers. Sesame dressing.

Kombucha: Ginger.

Dessert: TJ's mini-milk chocolate bars, Belgian chocolate.

Had enough leftover falafel croquettes from yesterday so I made wraps using lavash bread spread with balsamic-walnut dressing. First I microwaved the falafels and put them on the lavash. Then I added sliced tomatoes, pickled beets, sliced red onion and romaine leaves before drizzling with tahini and tightly rolling the wrap up. Easy dinner tonight. Cheers!🥂
