My sage turned out so well this year, but I've hardly used it. It just sits there, looking pretty. With fall coming, however, sage goes with so many vegetables, like squash.

Aglio e Olio with Fresh Sage seemed to fit the bill. It's simple, calling only for spaghetti or fettucine, olive oil, garlic, and grated Parmesan. Chopped sage to taste.
The recipe doesn't call for it, but I'm mixing in some ground chicken.
That and a tossed green salad with hot honey vinaigrette will complete the meal. Tomatoes, green and yellow pepper, red onion, and celery. I'll add some feta cheese, too.
Kombucha: kiwi pineapple.
Dessert: honeydew melon with mint and agave.
p.s. Can you believe it has been 24 years that I've been on this board? I was so surprised when I came home this afternoon and saw SheltieLover had posted a thread. Do stop by and say hello!
