What's for Dinner, Thurs., Oct. 2, 2025

I'm a bit under the weather with a slight cold, so I'm just having a chicken pot pie tonight. It's from the WF deli. I think I'll add some extra chicken and vegetables, like my homegrown celery and a few miniature carrots.

Kombucha: pear ginger.

Dessert: Ice cream: "Vienna" mocha chip.

I made some chicken Parmesan with angel hair pasta. I dreamed I was having broccoli, so I cooked some as my side

I met my daughter for lunch, so I'm not eating as much

Enjoy the evening. Be nice to yourself

I put uncooked Chinese dumplings in a quart of chicken stock, added 5 Chinese spice powder, white pepper and one 1/16 teaspoon of dashi powder in it. I added some aged bok choy & mushrooms them boiled it for 5 minutes.
I made a serving of jasmine rice for a side. Cold decafe tea to drink

Barbecue sandwich and chips.

Salad later tonight.

I have heard, lots of "Vienna" mocha chip ice cream will make you feel better.

Good Evening

Ran out of Ajax seasoning so I substituted nutritional yeast instead and it worked well. Cheers!🥂

From a box, with Rao’s four cheese spaghetti sauce and frozen green beans. As much as I could handle today. Had dental surgery Monday and it really wiped me out. And today was my husband’s every three month tests for metastatic cancer - always a very stressful time (thankfully, results were good). Plus the rapid descent into fascism hasnt exactly help. Looking forward to getting some sleep and maybe eating some mocha chip ice cream - my favorite right now.
