(43,271 posts)for a drive in the country and looking at a few of the covered bridges, and stopping at rummage sales. Being an old retired truck driver, they always want me to drive. The trees could of had more fall colors, but within a week they'll be beautiful. Here is the old bridge into Mecca, Indiana, and a picture of my tenderloin sandwich at the Mecca Tavern.

(43,271 posts)Most of our old covered bridges have new bridges next to them. I do know a few of them that you can still drive through. It's a shame, but some of the old bridges were burnt down by vandalism over the years.

(19,570 posts)I just finished my first mug with more to follow. I was slow getting up this morning as I'm extra stiff and sore today.
A whole grain English muffin is in the toaster awaiting butter.
Ducky has not graced me with his presence yet. I think he and TJ were up for a while in the wee hours.
